Yoga Detox Flow – Let’s Get Energized (Part 2/4)

Here it is Yogi! This is video 2 of 4 in the Detox Flow Series. If you would like to prep your body a bit before diving into this video, you can watch the first video here.

In this sequence, you will start creating some inner heat. One way that you will do this is through a yogic breathing technique called Kapalabhati. This helps to release stress and toxins from the mind and body. This cleansing breath also helps release negative emotions and energize the body. Perfect addition to any detox!

(Contraindication: Do not practice Kapalabhati if you are pregnant, or if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, or abdominal pain. You should also stop if you feel dizzy.)

If at anytime during the flow you need a rest, stay in downward facing dog or move into child’s pose. Remember, this is YOUR practice. Do what feels right for your body.
